“I believe that as a white practitioner it is never my job to tell my clients of color what to do or act as an authority over their mental/physical health. For all of my clients it is my belief that I am a guide for them between the plants and their body. Or their spirit and the stars. I listen and offer support by being a bridge. I acknowledge that because of systemic racism and genocide BIPOC clients have more stress + consistent trauma which leads to unfair gaps in health equity. Systemic racism is slow genocide on Black and Brown bodies. Weather it is seeing someone who looks like you be murdered or not being able to afford basic resources that everyone deserves. Whether it is not being allowed to be sovereign on your own land or epigenetic trauma of your formerly enslaved ancestors~ I acknowledge and honor with my whole heart the many ways BIPOC community members are under attack. it is my dearest wish to offer some support and sustenance to the communities I love dearly.”
